A Wisconsin woman got her treasured long hair cut for the first time in twenty years, thanks to Globat.com. Globat is donating the hair to Locks of Love, a charity which provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss.

Jessica Gerdmann, a mother to two toddlers and resident of Kewaunee, Wisconsin, began the auction for cutting her hair in early February in the hopes that an auction would force her into accepting a hair cut. The auction was seen by tens of thousands of people and quickly came to the attention of Globat.com’s CEO, Ben R. Neumann. Jessica had her hair cut at 4.30pm on February 21, one week after the auction ended.

Jessica Gerdmann said, “Globat.com is a great web hosting provider. My experiences with Globat.com have been wonderful and I highly recommend them. If I can trust them with my hair, you can definitely count on them for your hosting needs! Globat.com truly makes web hosting easy!” Interested eBayers can find the auction as item number 5663091975, which includes several photographs from before the cutting.
