Back in June, we hinted at an event that would “take DefyingGravity.com” to international heights. Well, it has happened, folks, and DefyingGravity.com has now left its mark in Africa!
In one of our latest events, a couple from Denver, Colorado traveled thousands of miles to Tanzania, Africa in order to climb the country’s highest point, Mt. Kilimanjaro. We’ve done a lot of events, but this may be the best so far, since it is truly an event that defies gravity and challenges people to test their limits.
Not only did the couple make it to the top of the mountain safely, but the Globat.com flag was proudly displayed at the summit. DefyingGravity.com and all of the Globat.com family are humbled to be part of this monumental event and are looking forward to similar events in the future. In the meantime, click here to read all about the Mt. Kilimanjaro event.

Summer’s here and things are heating up at DefyingGravity.com. With little time to rest after Samiah’s birth, we were off to our next event. Hailing from Texas, Terri Scott, daughter Kerri, and boyfriend GW Whitefield got a really strong craving for those famous White Castle hamburgers. So strong, in fact, that they set out to eat 300 hamburgers! Talk about loving your beef!
With a crowd of onlookers encouraging them on, Terri, Kerri, and GW began their hamburger eating marathon on May 9th. Be sure to check out their photo gallery and the video to see if they were able to keep all 300 burgers down!
Now, if the thought of eating 300 hamburgers makes you cringe, imagine gaining 65lbs in only 9 months! After our wonderful experience with Asia Francis and the birth of her daughter, we were more than happy to help her shed all that pregnancy weight. Asia is on a rigorous 60-day program to lose the baby fat and is chronicling her progress in her own blog on DefyingGravity.com, which you can see here. Work it, Asia! We’re with you all the way.
And that’s only the beginning. DefyingGravity is sizzling this month with a new event in which the public, meaning you, can participate. This time, we’re leaving our mark in Alaska, plus, you’ll be helping us leave our mark on Ramona and Dennis. Check back on DefyingGravity.com to see all the details and learn how you can be involved!
We also have more exciting events in the works, including one that’ll take DefyingGravity.com to international heights. Stay tuned for more information.

Well it’s been a long time since we updated this blog, so get ready! To start on April 15th, Globat.com had a reunion with a couple of our DefyingGravity.com stars, but this was no ordinary reunion. In attendance was Asia Francis with baby Samiah, who always get a warm welcome wherever they go. After all, how can you resist a baby? In addition, Mark Greenlaw, our “Human Billboard”, was there. Both Asia and Mark were given the royal treatment and thoroughly enjoyed the LA scene. We’re sure that it’ll be something that they remember for the rest of their lives. At the reunion, we also introduced the upcoming events, all of which went off with a huge success. The first was our hamburger eating challenge at White Castle. On May 9th and 10th, we Terri Scott, her daughter Kerri Gomez and Kerri’s boyfriend GW Whitfield took a 900 mile road-trip from Schulenburg, Texas to St Louis, Missouri to eat 100 White Castle hamburgers each, for a total of 300. They plastered their truck with Globat.com and DefyingGravity.com logos and even took the promotion to a new level by promoting Globat.com over the CB radio. The three had fun during there stay at the Wentzville White Castle restaurant. Check out the photos from the event here!
Our next event was on May 15th with Robert Reames, III, who by all standards should be named father of the year. In hopes to raise money to buy a car for his family, Robert decided to contact us to see if he could get a tattoo on the back of his neck like Mark Greenlaw. Hailing from Lancaster, PA, Robert and his family were eager to get the event started. We’re sure that Robert’s family appreciates the lengths that he went to provide for his family to take care of them. As he has said time and time again, he will wear the tattoo as a badge of honor to show his commitment to his family and how much they mean to him. The tattoo was done at Wade’s Tattooing & Body Piercing. You can see the entire event online here.
Our next event will be following the Globat Mommy, Asia Francis’s journey on losing her baby weight. It takes a lot to have a baby, and will also take a lot to lose all the baby weight. Asia will be on a routine exercise program and share her experiences in a daily blog. She will include plenty of photos and a list of what her program consists of and the food that she is eating. Everyone here at DefyingGravity.com and Globat.com is rooting for her and we hope that you do too. Be sure to check out her blog here and join in! All comments are welcome.
